VAG Votes to Expand Regional Juried Show Venues

Members at the Oct 2 VAG meeting voted to expand the RJS from the New London Inn to include the Bar Harbor Bank & Trust and Blue Loon Bakery. The added space will allow an increase in the number of accepted pieces from the current 20-21and opens the size restriction from the current 30 inches. Opening the competition to Emerging Artists was suggested and details will be worked out during subsequent VAG meetings.

This is just one example of the important decisions that are made at almost every VAG meeting. We meet on the first Tuesday of every month, 3pm at the Tracy library. The next meeting is Election Day, Nov 6, which is perfect timing for VAG members to vote for the next VAG Coordinator. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend.
